On the American Heroes Network, the topic up for discussion is the impact of effective leadership along with how the IVMF leverages higher education to design, develop and deliver world-class educational programs for veterans, their families and community stakeholders.   With Guests Mr. Jeremy Williams and Mr. Jared Lyon.

Guest Bios:

Mr. Jeremy Williams, a decorated United States Marine, combat veteran, and survivor of three tours of duty in the War in Iraq is the Principal & Managing Partner of Hashmark Strategies, LLC™ an emerging leader in developing and cultivating corporate leadership in both the profit and non-profit sectors.Some of his previous projects include: the Houston/Harris County Veterans Behavioral Initiative, where he led and implemented effective implementation strategies in a multifaceted, multilevel government collaboration.

 Mr. Jared Lyon, A veteran of the U.S. Navy, Lyon served as a submariner and Navy diver, taking part in multiple deployments around the world in support of the global war on terrorism. As national program manager for the Entrepreneurship Bootcamp for Veterans with Disabilities (EBV), Lyon manages, coordinates and administers the EBV and EBV-Families (EBV-F) national programs. In addition, he administers the EBV-Technical Assistance Program (EBV-TAP) on behalf of the institute.

 It has been said that we are only a generation away from forgetting our history. Disabled American Veterans struggle every day to overcome life-changing sacrifices. Their stories provides a vital part of history that has contributed to our American tradition. American Heroes Network provides a way for individuals, corporations and small businesses to support our Heroes by helping our veterans and their families rebuild their lives. They help aim our veterans, looking for jobs, in the right direction, help provide homes for our troops, assisting individuals and their families who have been severely injured while serving in the U.S. military and providing scholarships for families of our Fallen Heroes.  This will be a weekly hour long show joined by our military heroes and people and organizations that make a difference. American Heroes Network airs live Tuesdays at 8 AM Pacific, powered by Voice America Variety.
