I’ve often described “The AHA! moment” as one of the greatest joys in life.  That feeling you get when you “get it”, when understanding comes.  It’s particularly special to me when I realize that “I knew this all along”.  Earl Nightengale used to say that only when we are ready to learn something can we really understand it.  And there’s an ancient proverb of unknown origin that says only when the student is ready will the teacher appear.  This week I had the real privilege of having one of those “AHA! moments” again.  I’ve been working to develop content for my on-line learning programs and having a Zoom conversation with Ayn Fox and she said to me “Maybe what you’re doing isn’t so much a learning experience as it is a philosophical discussion.”

AHA! Yes, indeed, that sounds exactly like what I have in mind.

You know the feeling when you are talking with someone about an idea, and you suddenly realize “I get it!”?  Or, perhaps when you are having that idea based philosophical discussion and someone in the circle exclaims “I get it!”?

That’s what I’m talking about!    This isn’t a learning experience where I can promise some kind of outcome based on learning new behavior and incorporating that into a regimen.  This is an experience of Philosophical Enlightenment which has unmeasurable and unlimited potential.  When we lead with intuition we create a foundation for intellectual growth that may have been previously unmeasurable.

I’m looking forward to sharing more details about this new project, and will keep you posted.   Please let me know what you think!

Until next week, Be Well and Stay Well!!
